UV DTF TRANSFERS – APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

UV DTF transfers are designed for hard surfaces only and do not require heat. Follow the steps below carefully for best results.

IMPORTANT NOTES (READ FIRST)

  • No heat press or mug press required

  • Applies to hard, smooth surfaces only

  • No weeding

  • Full colour, waterproof finish

  • Not microwave safe

  • Not dishwasher safe

COMPATIBLE SURFACES

UV DTF transfers work best on:

  • Tumblers & drinkware (hand wash only)

  • Glass

  • Plastic

  • Acrylic

  • Metal

  • Phone cases

  • Hard-coated surfaces

⚠️ Not recommended for fabrics, silicone, rubber, or textured surfaces.

STEP 1 – PREP THE SURFACE

  1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and smooth

  2. Wipe the area with rubbing alcohol

  3. Allow the surface to dry completely

  4. Do not touch the cleaned area with bare hands after cleaning

STEP 2 – APPLY THE TRANSFER

  1. Peel the transparent film carrier away from the backing

  2. Carefully position the design on the surface

  3. Once placed, do not reposition

  4. Apply firm, even pressure across the entire design

    • A squeegee or firm card is recommended

STEP 3 – PEEL & FINISH

  1. Slowly peel the carrier film away

  2. The design should remain fully adhered to the surface

  3. If any edge lifts:

    • Reapply pressure with a squeegee

    • Press firmly until fully bonded

AFTER APPLICATION CARE

  • Allow 24 hours before use

  • Hand wash only (for drinkware)

  • Do not soak

  • Avoid abrasive cleaners

  • Do not microwave

  • Do not place in dishwasher

BEST RESULTS TIPS

  • Apply at room temperature

  • Work slowly and evenly

  • Always test one transfer before bulk application

  • Proper surface prep is the key to long-lasting results
